Pre-trial Consultation
Many of our Breckenridge brides in particular prefer a more natural look, so our Summit County based makeup and hair stylists have become very proficient at achieving a gorgeous, glowing natural glam.
To begin the brainstorm, we request inspiration photos before the trials that depict the bride’s dream wedding hair and makeup look, as well as any additional description they think might help convey their vision, so that the co-creative process with the artist is already underway. This also helps us determine if they will need extensions for their hair style, and gives us a heads up for what products will work best to bring the dream to life.
The Wedding Hair and Makeup Trial
Sometimes our brides will say they want natural glam bridal makeup. However, the photos they provide paint a different picture—soft glam. Along with the creation & manifestation phase of the process, we believe the educational component is equally important, and equally enjoyable! So, during pre-trial conversations as well as during the trial consultation itself, we connect with the bride through questions that help her gain clarity on what she wants and what she’s asking for, and determine which pieces of the provided pics she wants to highlight and emphasize the most, and how we can translate the details they love into the most beautiful natural glam bridal makeup look.
We seek to see the final masterpiece through her eyes, and dial in exactly what we need to do to make that happen.
Many of our brides have never had hair and makeup professionally done before, so it is important to understand that the trial is the most optimal setting for collaboration and communication. In other words—now’s the time to use your voice and speak up!
We’re pretty intuitive, but we’re not mindreaders, and sometimes we don’t know what you’re thinking unless you tell us.

Tweaks are a part of the process and not a reason for concern—they signal a deeper dive into the layers of what you’re looking for!

A quick note on hair for natural gals! Depending on the length and density of your hair, many bridal hair styles can be achieved with your natural hair length, however, some styles will require extensions in order to achieve the overall look.
