Question is: How far outside your comfort zone (if at all) do you want to explore? How much should you test the limits of the creativity box, stretch the boundaries of what’s expected?

Consider first of all your personality. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to express yourself in all of your radiant bridal beauty.
So for starters, a wedding dress and glammed hair & makeup might already be enough departure from your normal day-to-day, and keeping it closer to how everyone in attendance knows you (and how you know yourself, for that matter) to be is a sure-fire bet for no regrets. If the bridal look is already a reach, and beyond that would tip the scale into awkward and self-conscious, maybe you don’t go for the bright red bold lip if you’ve never worn that before, or if you typically wear your hair down, maybe not a tight, slicked-back bun.
Doesn’t mean you can’t “juj” it up, but let the juj be intentional.
Consider also your priorities—the overall experience for yourself and everyone in attendance. If you want to keep it comfy-cozy, keep it comfy-cozy. If you want to put on a dazzling display, go all out!
